first professional victory on 
the Duramed Futures Tour.

“I tried to go for it, but I guess I 
didn’t play enough break,” said Oh, 
who was the 2005 Junior PGA Player 
of the Year. “My tee shots were all 
over the place, but I made a lot of up-
and-downs to save par today. I would 
feel so much better if I had made that 
last putt.”
Pornanong Phatlum of Thailand 
totaled 72-70-69--211 and tied for 
fourth with Meredith Duncan of

aola Moreno had not won a 
tournament since her days at 
USC, but she remembered how 
to finish.
Moreno, who started the final 
round with a one-stroke lead, closed 
with a 1-under par 71 to capture the 
Texas Hill Country Classic on the 
Duramed Futures Tour by one shot 
over Angela Oh and Cindy LaCrosse 
at the Dominion Country Club in San 
Antonio, Texas.
“It’s a beautiful day for me,” said 
the 24-year-old Colombian, who 
helped the Trojans capture the 2008 
NCAA Women’s Golf Championship 
team. “I stayed positive the whole day 
and trusted myself. It took me a while, 
but I’m super happy.”
Moreno, who claimed the individual 
title at the 2008 Pacific-10 Conference 
Championships, posted a score of 
68-70-71--209, seven-under par, and 
collected $17,500.
Oh, from Maple Shade, New Jersey, 
shot 71-70-69--210 to tie for second 
with LaCrosse, of Tampa, Fla., win-
ner of the Riviera Nayarit Challenge 
in March, who wound up at 71-70-
69--210. 
Oh, who won the season-opening 
Florida’s Natural Charity Classic, holed
