Black Gold Golf Club introduces the GIVE Initiative!
On May 1, 2010, Black Gold Golf Club launched a terrific program where golfers save and non-profits gain
much needed funds. This exciting and innovative new program was developed with the sole purpose of giv-
ing back to So Cal non-profit organizations simply by playing golf. Not only will golfers be giving back (a $12
donation) but they will also be saving themselves some dough. The GIVE initiative is only $67 (standard rates
are $87, M-T / Fri. $99) so you reward your wallet too. Simply request the GIVE rate and tell them which par-
ticipating non-profit you want your $12 donation to go to.
It’s that simple. Visit GIVE@blackgolfgolf.com or call 714-961-0253, x154.
Do you have your U.S. Open tickets?
Once again the historic Pebble Beach Golf Links will host the U.S. Open, where in 2000 Tiger
Woods put on a display of golf never before seen in the national championship’s history winning
by an enviable 15 shots. It has also seen many dramatic moments in victories by Tom Watson and
Jack Nicklaus, along with being Jack’s last competition in the Open in 2000. Once again, golf fans
will descend on the famed Peninsula to witness history, and if you don’t have one of these tickets,
playing in it, a guest of corporate sponsor or volunteer, well, you’ll be relegated watching on NBC-
TV. Some tickets are still available for practice rounds. Visit usga.org for the chance to witness the
world’s best on the world’s #1 ranked golf course.
